<p>I spent a career in healthcare. I served for over a decade as a web application designer and developer for a large dialysis company working alongside frontline healthcare workers. But, I spent what felt like a lifetime in children’s hospitals from 2009-2014, sitting with my young son Joel, as he endured chemotherapy and long in-patient stays in the hospital. I’ve lived on both sides of the bedside, and I’ve come to deeply respect the healthcare profession.<...
