Mad Pinney is a Chicago-based writer, curator, and arts administrator. She is the Artistic Coordinator at Art Blocks, providing hands-on support throughout the artist experience. She is a long-time art + tech community organizer focused on leveraging the power of collective networks to build spaces of care and creativity. Previously, Mad has supported technologically-mediated and socially-engaged art with POWRPLNT, Artwrld, Eyebeam, and TRANSFER Gallery. She has given talks at The New School, Culture Hub, New York University, and Harvest Works. You can find her published work in Outland, a new platform dedicated to fostering critical conversations around emerging digital technologies and their connections to contemporary art.
