I'm interested in pushing computers algorithmically, i.e. using algorithms and automation as a mechanism to create art that would be prohibitive for humans to create manually, and aesthetically, i.e. using rendering techniques to approximate traditional media while retaining computational features unique to the medium. Much of my work has been inspired by print media featuring strong outlines, and studies the interactions that form from overlapping primitives.
