Field Transformations explores the aesthetics of interference by layering fields of different nature through a real-time quasi-simulation of wave patterns. A variable number of sources generate endlessly evolving forms, while a live binaural composition makes the phenomenon resonate and create similar patterns in the air between the audio sources and the viewer.

 

Each iteration generates an infinity of unique combinations of frequencies (light, sound), where simulation, perception, and interpretation meet in continuous motion, revealing a space where absence and presence are interwoven, letting the field born from the superposition of waves appear.

Transformations du champ explore l’esthétique des interférences en superposant des champs de plusieurs natures, par une quasi-simulation en temps réel de motifs d’ondes. Plusieurs sources génèrent des formes en perpétuelle évolution, tandis qu’une composition binaurale instantanée fait résonner le phénomène et engendre des motifs similaires dans l’air entre les sources audio et le spectateur.

Chaque itération génère une infinité de combinaisons uniques de fréquences (lumière, son), où simulation, perception et interprétation se rejoignent dans un mouvement continu, révélant un espace où le tissage entre absence et présence laisse apparaître le champ né de la superposition des ondes.
