CryptoNewYorkers are a limited release algorithmically generated pixel art collection based on real characters from New York City. Available only to visitors of the Bright Moments physical NFT gallery, CryptoNewYorkers grant holders exclusive access to IRL events and experiences across the world. Holders of CryptoNewYorkers are granted CryptoCitizenship.

CryptoNewYorker

Inspired by traditional Chinese architecture and Chinese painting, this project uses algorithms to generate window lattices with different patterns and blossoms and trees with different postures. Together with the possible rain and snow scenes, they constitute a corner with oriental aesthetic charm. These scenes are dynamic, such as slowly moving window frames, tree-growing, raining. We can imagine being indoors, watching the shaky tree shadow outside the window, or looking into the window from the same perspective as the current picture. Maybe we are looking into memories, maybe we are looking into hopes, anyone can write their own poems.

Through the Window

As the sun sets on the 70s, things become bigger, bolder and brasher. 80s Pop enters a new decade of extravagance with cutting-edge vector graphics, stylish modern patterns, cable TV and mainframe access.

A celebration of 1988, a whole year of games, tech and art crammed into one variety pack. The only way we could fit more in would be to put it on laserdisc.

Purchasing is suggested for expert users only and those already familiar with 70s Pop; fortune shines on the brave, and rarity is an illusion.

80s Pop Variety Pack - for experts only 🕹

Primitive shapes generate complex and chaotic snapshots of a larger form, still images with a sense of rapid motion, going through repetitive sequencing of parametrized mathematical functions, rotations and placement of objects. Augmented Sequence is a project by Joonas Toivonen, building upon work on audiovisual installations and electronic music performances. The parameters for sequence attributes, shapes, lighting, materials and colors are driven by the hash of the minting transaction, producing unique and surprising results.

Computation is one of the most powerful tools for our age. It opens up a whole world of possibilities. Some people use its power to solve the mysteries of our universe through science. I’m using it to explore our relationship with beauty and perception.

“Miragem” *(Mirage in Portuguese)* is a generative project that requires your slow attention. It’s an exploration of rhythm, balance, and texture. Just simple elements in a coordinated dance, ruled by math and randomness.

**It’s an invitation for the eyes and mind to wander.**
