Radiance explores the combination of simple line patterns structured at different scale to produce unique connected geometric forms. Resulting shapes can vary from minimal to organic and intricate with an underlying modulation of line spacing radiating from center.

Radiance

Lacunae is a study of emergent systems; it is both the outcome of following rules and an examination of the rules themselves. I am often interested more in how a thing is made than the thing itself, and when you view Lacunae it is my intention that you are shown behind the curtain, to witness the chaotic formation and the organized result. Watch as the particles move from their original random positions, leaving trails across the screen. All aspects are generated by the transaction hash, including the color combinations.

Lacunae

"Rotae" explores the vast array of beautiful and unexpected shapes that can appear from the simple process of letting wheels rotate on (many more) wheels. Taking a step beyond what the physical toy could do that many of us have played with (long ago) and stringing together anywhere from three to eight wheels. The algorithm starts by determining the number of wheels and what "m-fold" symmetry to achieve. From there the radii and frequencies are calculated per wheel in such a way as to ensure that the output won't turn into chaos, but an unpredictable, yet fully symmetric path that closes on itself. Giving a seemingly endless variety in the paths that get drawn. After a few seconds you can watch how the line gets drawn, possibly revealing unexpected shapes hidden within.

Rotae

An arcane schematic encased within a rotating vortex. Token data determines palette, vortex attributes, and the arrangement of all lines and shapes.

Wave Schematics

Last of the 70s Pops, gone but not quite dead 👻 nothing but black & white groovy patterns, perfect for colouring in. Some people say the spirits of the 70s haunt these, but that would be ridiculous! All Ξ from primary sales will be going to the Women Who Code non-profit organisation.
