Tentura - fundamental device of time and being.

The essence of the Tentura's work is that it breaks the connection between the body and soul of every living being under its influence.
The subject becomes bound to a global variable, which is calculated and controlled by the Tentura itself.
This is the work of Tentura, with the amendment that the object of its control is reality.

Tentura

***Vahria*** is an inquiry into the breaking points between two and three dimensions. Using spheres I attempt to create a tension between flatness and depth. Regular bodies become distorted blobs and circles. Occasionally, triangles are revealed, which are fundamental units in computer graphics.

The project is also a playful comment on constructivism and its dominance as a visual style in current generative art NFTs. In Vahria, I take the deconstructivist approach, favouring fragmented volumes, asymmetries and skewness, over linear forms, straight lines and right angles.

Vahria

Digital 3D light sculpture made of a sphere in a cube. Using noise algorithms, the sphere gets displaced to reveal it's colorful glowing core and illuminates it's environment, creating an endless organic and soothing real-time animation. The transaction hash value is used to determine the scale and octave of the noise, the color palette and the amount of displacement. Created with threejs and GLSL shaders. A WebXR viewer will be available to see the artwork in 3D on desktop, mobile, AR and VR and take high res screenshots. This artwork will be released via Dutch Auction, with the price starting at 1.5Ξ dropping in 0.1Ξ increments every 5 minutes until 0.1Ξ.

This piece was made while I was visiting Sudan and during the time I started meetings to build a school using the charity money collected from all the amazing collectors of Sudfah.  I was inspired by the contrast between the ubiquitous dirt and broken system of Sudan and the beautiful colorful culture and people.  The colorful forms represent to me both the long flowy garments of the ladies and the smoke and aromas rising from the unique incense and perfumes of Sudan.

25% of the proceeds will be donated toward building a school for an underdeveloped community in Sudan.
