Inspired by traditional Chinese architecture and Chinese painting, this project uses algorithms to generate window lattices with different patterns and blossoms and trees with different postures. Together with the possible rain and snow scenes, they constitute a corner with oriental aesthetic charm. These scenes are dynamic, such as slowly moving window frames, tree-growing, raining. We can imagine being indoors, watching the shaky tree shadow outside the window, or looking into the window from the same perspective as the current picture. Maybe we are looking into memories, maybe we are looking into hopes, anyone can write their own poems.

Through the Window

'Orthogone' is a succession of main colored rectangles, echoed with white - sometimes black - rectangles. You may guess buildings or squared ricochets, and sense the underlying rhythm.

How many moments make up a life? Some pass by without much thought while others last forever. They provoke emotions within us similar to frequencies on a wavelength. Moments is a journey into the simplicity yet profound complexity that a moment brings to our lives. Inspired by abstract expressionist oil paintings, each Moment is generated and cemented forever on the blockchain. These are the only moments we have. Never let them go.

Moments

A study in composition using simple shapes and layout rules. When repetitive patterns fail, and the symmetry isn't quite right, the images are strangely evocative. Somewhere between art deco, pop art, and sci-fi.

Paths is an animated journey across various subterranean and aboveground environments. To fully experience the project, you need to see it in high resolution with a capable GPU. Make sure that your browser uses your dedicated graphics card if any, and that you get a good frame rate.
