*Arcadia* is a homage to the fridge-worthy landscape art of our youth. Childhood techniques of creating art are re-imagined by the scribbles of a nostalgic, computer-assisted mind.

Arcadia

A long time ago, in a distant land, brave warriors joined forces to fight against the dark creatures.
Knights, Mages, Barbarians, Rogues, Automatas and Ethions. Each class has its own unique traits and weapons. 
Also, each warrior has the power of an element, known as their Soul Type and is equipped with a few items to assist them in their adventures.


Legends of Metaterra

Inspired by the physics behind electrical motors and alternators, Rotor projects varied shapes in circular motions to convey the ever turning, invisible magnetic fields that make elements go around. At a more basic level the work also explores how polygonal shapes can morph into circular sections and vice-versa.

With a subtle hint to information theory, the animation automatically pauses at a very specific moment (depending on traits) whereas the evolution thus far is condensed and captured into the still thumbnail. While the thumbnail possesses lower entropy than the full animation, studying it can reveal many of the traits a mint has and, once familiar with the collection, enable imagining its plausible history and future.

After clicking on the artwork, the following commands are available:

* Press 'p' to resume the animation after automatic pause (there's more coming!). Press again to pause / resume.
* Press 'a' / 's' to alter depth perception
* Press 'z' / 'x' to bring elements closer or farther
* Press 'c' to constrain the work
* Press 'r' to restart

Bonus: put on some tunes, hit different patterns of a, s, z, x to the beats, and allow yourself to envision the rotor become vinyl.

Rotor

"Attraction" is a system that draws single pixels, one by one, according to a set of rules inspired by the 'Chaos Game'.
Additionally, trigonometric functions may be used to displace pixels, resulting in wave patterns.

All unique properties of each artwork are defined by the token's hash. This hash will set all the parameters: the color palette, the positioning of objects and the rules by which pixels are drawn.

By the nature of this system, several well known patterns from computing and math may appear in the artworks.

Attraction

Horizontal and vertical threads weave together guided by a punching card generated at the moment of transaction. Often randomness distorts the orderly woven pattern. Thread colours are picked from a single colour palette. 10% of the sales from this drop will be donated to charity: water to bring clean and safe water to people in need.
