And through the looking-glass, where maidens roam, the blossoms speak, to lead the lost ones home: 'To seek the end around the bend — rewind your mind and leave the way you know behind.'
Viridaria playfully revisits the adventure of Alice in the Garden of Live Flowers from Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. Alice learns that following the path through this garden only leads her back to where she has started. To break free, she finds that she must reverse logic and force herself to walk in the opposite direction of her destination.
In this series, the not-quite-perfect mirrored images challenge our perception of reality, inviting us to take a closer look, to welcome the surprises. Like Alice, we might discover that, to find our way, we must first step back and look from a different perspective.
