Concentric Art was a platform dedicated to advancing work at the intersection of STEAM fields, bringing together science, technology, and art through generative practice. Their release Equilibria by Brixton is a fully onchain simulation of planetary systems, where orbiting bodies interact, collide, fragment, and reform in ways permanently recorded on the blockchain. Rooted in the artist's background in astrophysics research, the project is both a meditation on chance and consequence and a technical milestone, written in C++ and compiled to WebAssembly to run natively in the browser.
